X-Spam header missing regardless of low sa_tag_level_deflt but scores present in logs

Could you elaborate how exactly this information would leak to spammers 
this way? I'm not sure how they would be able to.
I see the merits in not putting ".", but I'm mostly wondering how mail 
could be routed in such a way.
