BLocking HAM issue

I have just ran some updates on my server (because I had to) and was using Amavisd from 2017 (2.11) 

I am getting HAM blocked with messages like this:

blocking contents category is (6)

followed by

Jul 22 16:54:32 mailcleaner amavis[5182]: (05182-11) do_notify_and_quarantine: spam level exceeds quarantine cutoff level 0

I use SQL for lookups and this doesn't make sense (though the schema for the database dates from v 2.8)

Any advice appreaciated.
