amavisd-milter+taint mode?

 Tried configuring amavisd-new in AM.PDP mode with amavisd-milter frontend.
Received the following exception during mail delivery:

Amavis::Util: can't obtain a tainted string at /usr/local/sbin/amavisd line
2923.

If I turn off the taint mode in amavisd-new, it works well. Did I
misconfigure something, missed some docs or is this a bug? The DBD driver
is sqlite, if that matters.
