Defang before quarantine

Is it possible to have virus-infected email defanged with Anomy sanitizer before they are sent to the quarantine? 

We are exploring an imap-based quarantine, with different types of quarantined emails being stored in different folders.  If we could strip out attachments, we could allow users to see their virus-infected email messages without the risk of infection.
