amavisd-release requirements?

Using only postfix + clamsmtpd + clamav, I got 16K FPs, eg in quarantine:

trying to use amavisd-release, I installed amavisd, got it running (but not used by postfix)

but: 

amavisd-release /var/virus/virus.0xZl9q
Invalid quarantine ID: /var/virus/virus.0xZl9q

amavisd-release version 1.51
Usage:  $ amavisd-release mail_file [secret_id [alt_recip1 alt_recip2 ...]]
  or to read request lines from stdin:  $ amavisd-release -

Is there anyway to use amavisd-release for these 16K msgs?
