If what you have in mind is upgrading 2.6.4 to 2.6.6,
then yes, this is basically it. The only noteworthy
changes are in files amavisd and amavisd-release.
The config file has not changed, you may keep yours
unchanged.
If you depend on some Debian/Ubuntu patch to amavisd
(to read multiple startup files from their package),
then you should apply their patch, or just merge
existing config files (if multiple) into one.
On other systems the files amavisd and amavisd-replace
are just drop-in replacements for existing files of
the same name, no other changes should be needed.
If upgrading 2.6.* to 2.7.0-rc1, there are some small
incompatibilities, mainly in the SQL area, so you should
review the compatibility section in the release notes.
Other than that, an existing 2.6.* config file should
still be usable with 2.7.0 with no changes.
