That’s correct Patrick,
Amavisd-new is running with a mysql backend (including the quarantine) for several years.
My thoughts were to do better filtering by including rspamd in the loop.
Still looks like a good idea, but I rather quarantine suspected SPAM instead of rejecting.
Regards,
Dudi

amavis is a content filter framework which uses content classifiers to determine a content class and then to act out actions based on the content class.
rspamd started out as spam classifier and has grown to be a filter framework.
amavis is able to use / integrate rspamd as spam classifier. There's code in amavis which enables amavis to communicate with rspamd.
My understanding is you (Dudi) want to use rspamd as spam classifier and then
- when rspamd classifies a message to be spam - let amavis put the message into it's quarantine. My understanding is also you want to use SQL as quarantine storage backend.
Correct?
