Perl 5.40 is now the default version in FreeBSD (ports) and 5.36 will
be removed soon (commit 0705456957d6 and 0705457c4c3f).
If amavis supports Perl 5.40 it should also work in FreeBSD. Maybe you
can open a PR if the problem persists. The port is still at version
2.12.3.
