Unable to integrate amass-new and openDKIM

Help! I’m trying to use openDKIM with amavis-new. I have amavis up and running with spamassassin and clamAV. That part works great, but not so much with openDKIM.

I’ve tried to send a mail from mail server 1 to mail server 2 and inbound I see openDKIM doing the DKIM validation when looking with ‘journalctl —follow —unit opendkim.service’ but when I send an email from server 2 to server 1 I don’t see anything. Using Wireshark with a capture filter on port 8891 on server 2 I see traffic but not data frames. Looking at the headers on server 1 I see the AV flag but no DKIM signature. In my 20-debian file enable DKIM validation is set to 0 and 50-user is empty (default).

Running the key test for openDKIM gives me a pass. What am I doing wrong?
