New virus scanners?

another AV product that comes to my mind is Avast for Linux:

amavis is still being maintained and we don't plan to change that. As a matter
of fact we have been putting things together for a bug fix release within the
last two weeks. We plan to announce it within the next days. If you are
interested in the current state of preparation take a look at the branches
listed at https://gitlab.com/amavis/amavis/-/branches.

We've also begun to discuss features for a future feature release. These
include changes to allow for better maintenance, a mechanism for multiple
custom classes, new methods to trigger policies and many other improvements.

At the moment all of them are in discussion and no decisions or plans have
been made yet. We plan to come up with a feature roadmap as soon as we have
decided what and in which order things should be done.
