Amavis DNS query timeout

So what happens when you run this command:

dig -t txt txt

where is the IP of your DNS server set in the resolv.conf file of your amavis server?

Yes, so for example on an email received from a email address, I'll see :

Authentication-Results: (amavisd-new); dkim=neutral
    reason="invalid (public key: DNS query timeout for"

In the headers.

And what I'm saying is that "dig txt"
on the same server does not time out.  Hence I've no idea why amavis is saying it is ?
