Identifying MIME attachments

Hi,

I'm using amavisd-new-2.11.0 on fedora23. I'd like to use the ability
to use custom hooks within amavis to identify whether a particular
mail has a MIME attachment, so I can perform functions on it like
detect if it is a Word macro doc.

Does anyone have any experience doing this?

I've used the custom hooks to modify log output, but nothing like this.

Eventually I'd like to get to the point where I can search within the
document for specific strings.
