Amavisd fails to start. Missing UNIX::Syslog??

What is "dnf" ?

What OS/flavor?

What was updated today?

What does maillog show when trying to start amavisd?

Multiple versions of perl?

Try running amavisd binary  'strace -f -o/tmp/FFFF  amavisd start ' then 
review /tmp/FFFF
and see if it gives more clues.
