Total around 2.8MB.

My Amavisd.conf 
$MAX_EXPANSION_QUOTA = 300*1024*1024;

How big is your attachment (Excel)? If large than $MAX_EXPANSION_QUOTA, then the email was not check for spam & virus. Watch your amavisd-new log if unsure.
