Yes, it is easy-peasy.

Oh, is that a fresh install? Then reinstall it now. Using CPAN you made 
it a mess to administrate and it is even now in an unsupported mode 
regarding Perl.

The RPM package management knows nothing about what you do with source 
installs like using CPAN. So, don't do that!

Get everyting installed using yum. Depedencies will be auto-resolved.
