Amavis and MySQL

I found this notices in my mail.log:

Jan 20 06:25:08 mailsrv01 amavis[12302]: (12302-09) NOTICE: reconnecting in

has gone away at (eval 100) line 166, <GEN32> line 1565.
Jan 20 06:25:13 mailsrv01 amavis[12300]: (12300-14) NOTICE: reconnecting in

I already modifyed my amavis config (user-50.conf) and added the suggested
$max_servers = 1; and $max_requests = 1; lines.

Which didn't help.

Currently my /etc/mysql/my.cnf max_connections=300

At the moment this server isn't do much, but it will serv 2000-3000
mails/day, what is your suggestion for this amount of mails?
