On Redhat/CentOS how many use a repository and how many build from source?

Thanks for the responses, everyone.

I've shied away from source RPMs.  I rarely saw any point
in the end sysadmin user needing it.  But perhaps I should
check it out as a regular solution for something like amavisd which
no distro has an interest in updating frequently.
