Query on sql lookups and order of searches

In the user's table there is also a priority column. Make sure the generic policy has a higher priority than the more specific one. I think lower numbers have a higher priority but I don't remember for sure

I tried that but then bob at somedomain.co.uk gets the policy applied to him
rather than the more specific one I wanted applied.  Can I apply a specific policy
to a user in a domain this way that overrides the policy for the rest of the domain?
