tag levels ignored

Hi,

I am running amavisd-new with spamassassing on Ubuntu 12.04. I have the
following settings in my /etc/amavis/conf.d/50-user:

$sa_tag_level_deflt  = -999.0;
$sa_tag2_level_deflt = 8.5;

These seem to be ignored though - when headers are added to the mail,
they contain this:

X-Spam-Status: No, score=5.884 tagged_above=3 required=9.5

Any clues/ideas how to configure the thresholds?
