Btw, looks like the savscan is an on-demand command line scanner.
Didn't try it, but if it is anything like the older 'sweep',
I'd expect its startup to be very slow.

If you have a chance to use a savdid daemon from a Sophos SavSDK
kit, this should be much faster. Amavis supports its SSSP protocol
since version 2.7.0.
