Insufficient logging

Dear friends,

A few weeks ago I realized that amavisd does not log
spams and viruses but clean mails.

As far as I remember a year ago the situation was normal.
Every mail was categorised and logged.

If I change $log_level to 2 I can see "SPAM" and "INFECTED"
log entries but I get tons of uninteresting logs too.

What should I check?

My version is 2.6.4, date 20090625.
It was installed from amavisd-new_1:2.6.4-3 Debian package.
