Guess, you're wrong ;-) See man 5 postconf for your given parameter. In
my opinion, it does something similar, but from the perspective
MTA->outgoing. In my case, smtpd (not smtp) did have the timeouts. And
to go further: Do not change this value, as its default _is_ yes :)
