if this fixes your problem, then disable compiled rules.<br>

also, less than 2 seconds to parse an email isn't too bad,
especially when 54% of it is 'learn'<br>
(I assume you are using default db4 plugin for bayes?). if so,
switch to mysql plugin.<br>
